Press Release Body: Denver, Colorado, September 16, 2008 -- Long Story Short School
of Writing, an online writing school has partnered with Colorado Free University in
an exclusive arrangement to offer their entire curriculum in the virtual division of
CFU.

LSS Writing School has been chosen to open the Online Writing School at Colorado
Free University, a 35-year-old institution based in Denver. CFU, a leisure-learning
center, offers a wide variety of brick and mortar classes at their Denver location
in The Lowry Center, 7653 East 1st Place, Denver, CO 80230. Anxious to expand it
online curriculum, CFU gave an exclusive right to LSS to offer their entire catalog
of courses in the online arm of its school.

Directed by Denise Cassino of Conifer, CO and Linda Barnett-Johnson of Lewistown,
MT, LSS opened its virtual doors in October 2005. Cassino says, “Since that time,
our growth has been phenomenal and this was the logical next step. “ The writing
school is a spin-off of the ezine, Long Story Short, http://www.alongstoryshort.net
dedicated to the promotion and advancement of writers worldwide. LSS offers numerous
courses in fiction, non-fiction, poetry, basic writing and self promotion as well as
Communications. The courses are taught by highly qualified, well-published
instructors.

Cassino and Barnett-Johnson met in an online writing class in 2001. They became
virtual business partners in 2003, but have never met. They have an amazingly
compatible business relationship and friendship, which has further expanded with the
Long Story Short Publishing Company, an ebook publisher.

Known as the “nice” publishers in the highly competitive world of online publishing,
they have 3000 subscribers to their ezine and publish its newsletter announcing the
stories, articles and poetry published each month.

Named four times as one of Writers Digest’s 101 Best Websites for Writers, they have
published thousands of stories, articles and poems over the last five years.
